If you like customisation, you can push the boundaries even further with this app, I've used for over 3 years and I'm still getting my life. It has all the usual perks of a launcher and then some. The backup features work perfectly and there's an option to hide apps.

Yeah I know, I meant 'huge mess' as in my phone literally stopped working for a bit. I had to restart a few times and deleted the app but it seems like go locker was the problem

Go Locker is an unusable mess, I don't know why they made it tbh. It clashes with other persistent apps
I should add Clean Master to those you already mentioned.
