ATRL's best selling point, at least for me, is the wide range of personalities and tastes in music. Everyone here has a different approach to different topics; some people maintain a sense of maturity during discussions and are able to have some really good, intellectual conversations- while others lean more to the humorous route, and are able to provide some genuine laughter, even in an otherwise dull topic. There's just so many personalities around here, and it's interesting to see what happens when they come together. It's also kind of amazing how we are able to have a "tight-knit community" feel that some smaller forums have, even though our members count is extremely high.
Additionally, the range of music taste (it exists!) is great for discovering new music. For example, jax, who is a big fan of underground female rappers, posts a lot of songs and artists that I'd otherwise never hear of. + with rates like The Ultimates, you can always find something new to listen to.
Worst part about ATRL? Trolls who take serious topics that can be offensive, such as race, and turn them into running jokes. They are so subtle and careful about not getting banned too.

It's just so tired at this point, I don't know why some people still entertain their "jokes" with a positive response.
