The blogs are a buzz with the leaking of a supposed new Janet Jackson promo photo this week. The star recently started a twitter page and spoke briefly about working on a new album:

After splitting with Def Jam, she was rumored to be releasing an album this year under Live Nation. But after the tragic death of her brother, Michael Jackson - the new release was pushed back.

Yes... thank you for pointing that out. There were many rumors within the stan community but nothing ever materialized. I doubt she'd get signed, she's not as assuredly profitable as someone like Madonna or Jay-Z.
