Let's say you have a kid down the line (or have already) and they left their device open and unlocked. Would you look through their history?

If the opportunity presented itself very easily, I probably would. But it wouldn't be something I'd go out of my way to do, nor would i make it some kind of mandatory thing. If you're a parent and can't trust your child with a phone or something, you probably shouldn't have given it to them in the first place.

Also kids are a ****ing mess, like hell would I give the benefit of the doubt and avoid an opportunity to check on your life

As someone who is incredibly sensitive about my own privacy, definitely not unless I felt there to be due cause.

Since I was a mess during my time online, I'd just be curious and maybe do a monthly peek. I wouldn't go and talk to them about it or call them out, though.

I'd ask about their online activity and if they are suspicious I might take a peak at the history when they go to sleep.
