Back in the day, you were lucky if you lived to 50 and now more and more people are living to 90, so it's realistic to suggest that we could be living till 100.
In terms of medical advances, people in the olden days used to die from a flu/cold/fever and now we have medicine so I do think we can make it till 100.
It also depends on stress, genes and your lifestyle choices (i.e. exercise, smoking, drugs, diet).
Yes,if the stress is low and alcohol,drugs,cigarettes etc. get banned WW (which wont happen in the near future) more people will be able to live longer than 80
I think that it's certainly a possibility, but you can't just rely on medical advances. You also have to life a healthy lifestyle, getting enough sleep, exercise, and happiness.
I work at a hospital and tbh there are so many 100 year olds, it's nothing special. We even had someone who was 107 or something, slay sis 100 is the new 80
