From Ebola, to homophobic Russia; from the airplane disappearances, to movie theatres having the lowest-attendance record since 1995; from the debates of cultural appropriation, to the lackluster sales from everybody in the music industry with the exception of a few; from racial tensions being at an all-time high, to Ferguson and the ruthless cases of police brutality.

ALL of this, combined with my personal experiences and the personal experiences from everybody around me, it seems as if 2014 was a very depressing year for everybody involved. But am I wrong? What is your consensus on this question? Was 2014 a good year in your opinion, or what is it a bad one? And do you see things starting to look up for this year if you think 2014 was a bad one?

2014 was alright for me tbh.

2014 slayed for me. Edged ahead of 2013 as the best year of my life.

It was good, good things happened to me and I'm satisfied with what I achieved. 2013 slayed though, best year of the 2010s for me. 2013 > 2011 > 2014 > 2012 > 2010
