Lbr, had there been no camera he wouldn't have acted so dramatic.
As if that shakey voice was genuine
He got the news like 30 minutes earlier, this is not him finding out but him being asked to read the letter by the producers in a different room by himself.
Um at you even suggesting that he is faking... you're disgusting.
This was him SPECIFICALLY reading his letter to the camera in the HOH room during Big Brother After Dark cuz he wanted to do it while he knew they were being broadcasted on TV. He even got dressed up for it and everything.
Like had it been in the moment and what not, then yeah. But honestly he DEFINITELY used his grandfather's death to gain sympathy within the game a whole lot, it was disgusting.

This is after he was told in the DR by the producers.
So basically you are proving the OP right. the tears in the HOH room were fake and only for the camera.

He has no soul, I promise you.
Not you distorting the truth, he was asked to speak in the HoH by the producers and give a eulogy/speak to his family.
Okay, y'all are doing too much. The only thing I saw wrong with this is the way they send him a letter with the news for him to read on camera. A bit tacky.
Reminds me of when this girl on a German casting show was told her mom unexpectedly died while being filmed.

Please, he knew damn well there were cameras all around him, which is exactly what he wanted.
The producers wanted him to read out the letter to induce sympathetic audience; Frankie did it to garner their attention. Reading out a letter written specifically FOR Frankie out to the entire nation is just so... wrong.
I remember when something very similar happened on BBAU - the guy didn't sit in front of the camera and have a fake little sulk, he actually told everyone he had to leave the show immediately (in the most non-dramatic way) and did just that.
