Why does she sing in Spanish and use Latin rhythms and sounds in this song? I had no idea she was Latina. What about the Latin artists and singers who make music? This is a part of their history.

Because she is smart and can use more then one language

you have to be Latina to speak spanish now. And FYI learning another language is mandatory in every school from middle to college in America

Well I am usually honored when Americans try to sing in Spanish (no one can touch Legend X in that aspect) but I am not too sure about this

A mess. She was raised in Harlem which is a neighborhood with a big latin community and I think she has a lot of latin friends too...so it was pretty easy for her to speak Spanish.

Because she knows what's amazing. The song is amazing like that.

Foreign language isn't required at college. And when it is required, you hardly actually learn anything.

I don't know what college you go to, but mine requires completion of the 202-level in a foreign language.
