NOOO I'M NOT SAYING WE SHOULD SPARE HIM, he is definitely NOT better. I think it would be better to use the right words. To know the motives behind the actions of a pedophile and the actions of such a person. Any psychologist would tell you the same. For exemple, I grew up in what you may call a third world country, where people are religious and girls never 'fornicate' therefore such sexually ill men prey on young boys, and in most of these cases, it is noticed that the reason is: 1- they are the easiest victims. 2- they never tell. But they would all go for a grown woman if they had their way. Many of them also do it w gay men (without being gay, just out of sexual frustration) ANYWAY, the point is, child abuse isn't just perpetuated by some sick men under the 'pedophile' tag. Pedophiles -in the strict definition of the term- are, according to studies, rare. But then again I suppose we can call this type of men pedophiles too, idk it's a complicated topic but I feel like we have to pay attention to the victims and their experiences and treat each case by taking in account these elements if we want to end child abuse.
