Perez Hilton and Michelle Visage for Celeb Big Brother

Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton has reportedly signed a six-figure deal to become a housemate on Celebrity Big Brother 2015.
The 36-year-old – real name Mario Lavandeira – is known for his acerbic coverage of pop culture on PerezHilton.com, which has attracted a peak of over 300million hits a month.
He went on to become a star in his own right – appearing in TV shows such as Glee and Hot In Cleveland, and hosting ITV2 series Perez Hilton Superfan in 2011.
Now, The Sun claims Hilton has accepted £150,000 to join the next series of CBB, with Channel 5 bosses hoping he’ll reveal all about his experiences in showbiz.
A source commented: “Perez is a huge influence online, with a website that’s one of the biggest in the world. He’s also making a name for himself outside the web, having appeared on various telly shows and had run-ins with well-known celebrities.
“Perez loves Britain and the producers of CBB can’t wait for him to star in one of the most talked about shows here.”
Hilton is infamous for engaging in feuds with the likes of Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus, Black Eyed Peas star Fergie, and more recently Ariana Grande.
In 2009, Will.i.am’s manager was charged with assault after allegedly punching him in the face when he called the ‘Scream & Shout’ singer a “f***ing ******”.
Hilton – who has an 18-month-old son – also infamously fell out with Lady Gaga, and was last year accused of stalking her after being spotted near her apartment. He later insisted that he was only looking for a new place to live and was unaware that Gaga lived in the building.
If he enters the CBB house, Hilton could be joined by RuPaul’s Drag Race judge Michelle Visage, model Calum Best, actress Patsy Kensit and Mel B’s husband Stephen Belafonte.
Celebrity Big Brother returns for its fifteenth series on Wednesday 7th January.
