It's not ok to criticize either
The Christians on atrl are generally quite relaxed about it but it's never nice to criticize anybody.

I criticize them both. Its perfectly okay to criticize religion as it is any other belief system.

Because they over-react if you say something about their religion. Typical muslim people.

Because a lot of criticisms are based on a small group of people. No one criticizes Christians for everything the Westboro Baptist Church does.

Says who? I'm fine with the criticism of any religion. People only come to the defense of Islam (in America) when Christians try to limit their right to practice religion like they do.

Because it's hypocritical. If you're going to call out extremists and idiots that use religion to pursue their evil intentions, you shouldn't single out only brown people for it

It's "ok" because the countries that Christianity is popular in (eg: USA) have let down their interest in the religion much more so than countries where Islam is popular in. Like they've allowed blasphemy in "art" for example Judas and Like A Prayer happening, if this was to happen in an Islamic country it would have been banned and the person will be in trouble which I understand and support, out of respect.

At the same time with the rise of things like LGBT equality many people go against the bible in favor of LGBT which in result makes Christianity really weak in terms of the believers.

That's why it's "ok" to attack Christianity.

The Christians do it.
The public figures do it.
Nobody follows it.

And because ATRL consists of mostly Christians and atheists. Those who poke at Christianity are 98% of the time from either of those two groups. Those who poke at Islam are from either of those two groups as well. Also, there is a huge difference between Islam and Christianity and how each is perceived in society.

You just had to add that didn't you.

It's kind of the same reason why everyone makes a big deal about a discriminatory comment towards a black person and not so much of a big deal when a discriminatory comment is made towards a white person, if you know what I mean.
