VATO'S FAVORITE ALBUMS OF 2014
And so it begins! The #1 album should be pretty predictable based on my recent posts around ATRL

but generally this was a pretty terrible year in music, I struggled to pick even 10 decent albums, let alone great ones. Maybe I just need to expand my taste in music? Anyway let's begin!
10. Future - Honest

You have to give him props for trying something different in rap. Rapping all your songs as if you were on the verge of tears? That takes some balls and confidence to pull off. Honest is not as good as his previous effort Pluto, but it's still decent enough to make it at #10 on this list!
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Move That Dope
- Look Ahead
- Never Satisfied
09. Jack White - Lazaretto

Listening to this album almost makes me feel as if The White Stripes never really went away! The minimalist organic style draws you in from the first second, much like the work from The White Stripes does.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Lazaretto
- High Ball Stepper (a 4 minute instrumental that is OUT of this world)
- Three Women
08. The Black Keys - Turn Blue

The Black Keys in full blues-y form! This is the kind of record you play on a rainy day and just allow melancholy to invade you. 2 songs on the album are out of place and disrupt the flow (Fever and Gotta Get Away), but they're amazing on their own so all is forgiven.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Gotta Get Away
- 10 Lovers
- Weight of Love
