How has your music taste evolved throughout your life?
Well, for starters, when I was a kid, I listened to whatever my parents listened too. Whether it was English or Spanish music, I listened. Around 1999, I got into the teen pop sensation that almost everyone was hooked on, despite the fact that I was only 8. Britney Spears, The Backstreet Boys, and NSYNC were prime examples. In 2003, for some odd reason, I got into alternative music, and my favorite artist at the time was in fact, Evanescence. I got into hip-hop music around 2004 or 2005, but I really don't know why, but I constantly listened to pop music as well. Not much has changed since 2005, but I think my love for alternative music is coming back! My current favorite artists include Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and T.I.
What about everyone else?

I have always been listening to pop and R&B music but as I was growing up I started to explore more music genres and styles like electronic or ambient music.

I was never really that interested into music until around 5th grade. Then I started actually listening to the radio and I heard a bunch of pop that kids my age liked, so I just went with that. In middle school, it seemed like every guy listened to rap, so I gave that a shot to fit in, and I still like some rap artists, but ever since around 8th grade, rock has been my genre-of-choice.

When I was younger, I listened to a lot of pop, then cam r&b, hip hop and now rock and country. But before Britney Spears cam along, nothing. She changed my life and if it wasn't for her, I would never have loved music like I do now.

My Dad used to flick through all the music channels near enough all the time whenever he had chance to watch TV. So I basically enjoyed the music he would listen to and this included euro-pop groups like Vengaboys, Aqua, Eiffel 65 and so many others. He was into rock, pop but not so much RnB. I then developed a interest in Backstreet Boys and then I really enjoyed cheesy pop music from Fast Food Rockers and many other groups.
My Dad split from my mum and then I flicked through music myself and then I got interested in genre's from RnB to Heavy metal. I listen to all kinds now

Leave him. Hard Candy has nothing better to do, but to bash people. It isn't working, so whatever.

I've always liked pop and that was mostly what music channels used to play, then I discovered the internet and found out there were different genres, I got attached to R&B, Rock, and Eminem (hip-hop). Lately, I like a lot of odd/alternative/calm music like Damien Rice, Ingrid Michaelson, Greg Laswell, Kate Havnevik, Natalie Walker, Little Dragon, The Cinematic Orchestra, etc. I also started to like UK Pop.

When i was a kid my favorite type of music was pop. As i grow up i started to listen to some punk and metal. Those were my rebel-converse years Now i listen to everything. A lot of pop and happy punk. I really like that type of music.

In my case, I pretty much subjected my taste to what my parents regularly listened at home(which was what they heard on radio, and some particular albums that they liked a lot). But then near the end of 2005 i started to change my music habits. I had a huge crush on t.A.T.u. video "All About Us", and watched MTV many hours a day, which led me to discover a numerous amount of artists. So pretty much at that time i listened to some rock, but mainly pop stuff.
Then, at about September 2007, i re-discovered a couple of songs of Atreyu that i hadn't paid much attention(Ex's And Oh's & Shameful), and i started whoring them up, starting my new frenzy for hard music
And now starting this year, i started frequenting different blogs and trying out new stuff, i became very interested into even harder genres, i.e.: melodic death, death, brutal death, folk metal.

I started more R&B influenced... Then around 15 I became a pop fanatic. I stan for Beyonce and her different genres. I love all styles especially old music like The Supremes and Barbara Streisand. And I love neo-soul like India Arie and Maxwell.

WHen I was yougner Hip Hop & R&B were my life. I listened to pop as much as I listened to Hip Hop & R&B but I would never admit I liked that genre. In 2002 or 2003 I found a friend who actually liked Simple Plan like I did I was shocked. So from 2003 - 2004 we become rock fends. Hip Hop, R&B, & Pop were still our main genres but Rock was like something we shared and then some of the other kids in our class got in on it and we had daily discussions about the crazy songs MTV had on tv. Carrie Underwood is the only country artist I like so far. But as of right now I love all types of music.

I've always listened to pop. Pink, Beyonce, Christina, Mariah, Madonna, and Shakira. Ever since I learned to play guitar, I developed interest in Rock Bands like Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, The Beatles, and Pink Floyd. These days I like putting my own twist on pop songs with the guitar.

I used to STAN for Shakira!!!!I had a Greatest Hits album from her...Everyday the first thing i did was to pop that on my cd player!I knew all of her songs in that album whether they were in English or in Spanish!!!I was so obsessed!!!
Then i discovered Evanescence with Fallen...Till today,i can say surely that Fallen is the one album that i can hear over and over without a single skip!So Evanescence=LOVE!!!
Then i saw a music video on tv...A half-naked chick was dancing in a wrestling ring...She was gorgeous!!!So unique!!!The song was the catchiest thing i've ever heard...Yeah that day , something was born!!!MY PASSION FOR CHRISTINA AGUILERA!!
Growing up i've listened to many artists (Britney,Justin,Lil Wayne,Lil Kim,Bey,Ne-yo,Rihanna,Jojo,Ciara...etc) but noone can replace the thing i have for Christina Aguilera...
