By his own admission, Pete Wentz is to blame for starting the rumors that Fall Out Boy were about to call it quits.

After all, it was his response to a harmless question submitted by a fan via Twitter — "Can we expect a new FOB CD next year?" — that lead to all the chatter in the first place. Wentz answered that he wasn't sure, and that the band's Folie à Deux album "may be the swan song," which (understandably) got the rumor mill buzzing.

Um, it's a little late LMAO. But I wouldn't miss them. FOD is a ****** album. Their first mainstream one was great though.

I honestly don't care about this band, there's only one song of theirs I like. But as Lee said, this really would be the perfect last song. I think the end's cool when other singers sing their hooks.

And they should've saved the "This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race" video for this single, but whatever.

Nobody cares about this band because is so generic and dated. It's time to stop.

Eh... they still need to release "Headfirst Slide into Cooperstown on a Bad Bet". It's only a rock radio single right now, and that's kinda pointless since nobody is playing it.

Fall Out Boy calling it quits, Panic at the Disco breaking up...the era of whiny self-absorbed pop-punk bands was short-lived after all.

Don't tell people what to do. Just cause you don't like them doesn't mean you should go around tell people to stop listening to them. I am a huge fan of FOB and hope they don't break-up!
