I pay 79.99 a month with Comcast for basic cable.
(and that is SD, HD is 18 bucks more)
This is unreal. If there is a show on MTv I missed (If I even watch anything from them)
I will go to mtv.com and watch the episode the day after. If i miss something on Nick
I will go to nick.com and watch it on their website. If I miss an episode of Game of Thrones
on Hbo ( I do not pay the extra for HBO) I will go to tubeplus and watch it the next day
in HD for free.

HBO go is coming out with a cable free package in 2015.
(no cable sub required )

Well I know I cant be the only one who is thinking this.
In the 90s & 2000s yeah we needed cable at the time
because the internet was not how it was today.


But now I dunno, I do not see the value for having to pay
for ESPN,BRAVO, CNN and Food Network when I do not even watch it.

i have a first time customer discount that gives internet + basic cable for 40$/month, but the full price would be 40$ each so when the promotion is over I will cancel the cable, the basic cable is awful anyways

so If I wanted channels like nicktoons or mtv2, Showtime

that would be 114.00 plus the 18.00 fee

making it

132.00 a month plus the 10 dollar extra box fee per tv.
