My opinion is that Street Fighter team focuses on quality, so wether they release a brand new entry or update the GP knows it'll be a quality fighter, unlike MK which had negative press and was critically panned and shunned during the whole PS2 era + the beggining of the PS360 era (MKvsDC) so people do not take the risk to buy the updates! SF's LOYAL fanbase + GP

What kinda blatant lies. You having to makeup things now is kinda pathetic.
MK Deadly Alliance has 79 on Metacritic
MK Deception an 81
Mk Shaolin Monks a 77
MK vs DC U has a 76 and now
MK 2011 has a 86
The only MK games (from the main series) that have been critically panned are those released around there transition to 3D in the late 90's. But they got through that rough patch.
And SF doesn't really take chances they just add more specials and polish things up with each release. MK introduces new characters with every game, new kombat styles, improves graphics, new modes (konquest mode, challenge tower, MK chess etc...) they update character costumes, make adjustments according to fanbase demand (Bringing back certain characters, going back to a 2D plain field, Aerial combat making a return,etc...) they do it all, SF remains more accessible though.
