Louisa Manning’s story is one far too relatable by a generation of kids who suffered from years of bullying before the issue was even brought to light.
In her middle-school years she was tormented for her appearance and teased for her weight, called “hairy” and “manbeast” by peers and subjected to years of disordered eating.
However,
nearly a decade later Manning was presented with the rare opportunity to serve up some ice-cold revenge on one of her Cambridgeshire harassers when he asked her out on a date.
“I was pretty pissed off he asked me out, to be honest,” she told Buzzfeed. “It really made me angry that now I’m attractive, he instantly wants to jump into bed with me.”
Manning ran into the old classmate during an Oxford University ball, where she accepted his offer with a completely ulterior motive.
“My gut instinct was to say no, but then I realized what a brilliant opportunity it was,” Manning said. “After bouncing ideas off a friend for a few hours, we came up with an idea.”
At a restaurant where the hopeful man was expecting to find his beautiful date, he was instead greeted by this note:
Quote:
Hey [name obscured],
So sorry I can’t join you tonight.
Remember year 8, when I was fat and you made fun of my weight? No? I do – I spent the following three years eating less than an apple a day. So I’ve decided to skip dinner.
Remember the monobrow you mocked? The hairy legs you were disgusted by? Remember how every day for three years, you and your friends called me Manbeast? No perhaps you don’t – or you wouldn’t have seen how I look eight years later and deemed me ****able enough to treat me like a human being.
I thought I’d send you this as a reminder. Next time you think of me, picture that girl in this photo, because she’s the one who just stood you up.
Louisa.

This reminds me of Lady GaGa and her coffee-shop superstar comment to her former boyfriend:
"I said to him, 'Someday, when we're not together, you won't be able to order a cup of coffee at the f***ing deli without hearing or seeing me.'".
Do we have the next unibrow chanteuse on our hands, sisters?
