I dont think other artists albums should count as Pharrells nominations. He should be nommed as a producer generally for work he does on other artists albums. He only worked on 2 tracks on Eds album.
Although it was originally presented to the artist alone, the award is now presented to the main artist, the featured artist(s), the producer, the engineer and/or mixer and the mastering engineer.
