I do think they should use police body cameras, but I get what they're saying, what the hell is it gonna take for this to stop, if there was clear footage of a killing of an innocent black man, and still no indictment?

Body cams won't do a thing. A black person is worth nothing in America. And until stereotypes and racism continues this won't stop.

There was a study done this summer that showed whites don't think racism exist. As long as you have that this won't end. It will just be more blacks dead.

There really isn't one so I'm really not here for them trying to act like so. Both Oscar Grant and Eric Garner's murders were literally recorded and released on video and they still got away with it scott free (The cop who murdered Oscar Grant was sentenced but he literally spent less than a YEAR in jail for murdering someone.) I guess I appreciate the attempt even if it seems more like damage control than anything. But I can't with them acting like this is going to be make some revolutionary changes. As if cops still don't have the authority and still won't find loopholes and ways to cheat the system.

The police are run like a military after 9/11 the police have become militarized. They are proved like a military too. That's the problem. I hear a lot of them talk on TV they seem to view suspects almost as enemy combatants rather than a civilian suspect. When they arrest people even lil ol' ladies it's like taken down Bin Laden. Over the top TBH.

Body cams won't do anything. And honestly its a waste of money to buy that many when a situation like this happens so rarely. Technology isn't going to stop this, its gotta be something more

Some police abuse their power and there's police brutality/killings happening every single day that don't get the attention so it seems like it happens rarely but it's happening every day. The incident with Eric Garner is not the reason why the cameras are being enforced but it is just the final straw.

I agree it will be a waste of money. Adding cameras will not reform the justice system, it just adds more to the madness. But in a way I do want to see how it turns out lol.
