tcatron, I was at Peace Lutheran Church off Highway 54 in Brazito yesterday with my aunt and uncle and during Bible study this girl actually said to her firend "Isn't Canada the country where they don't allow you to preach against gays? I would not tolerate that. I'd rather go to jail."

Yes, we pass by it a lot on our way to Jefferson City. We sometimes stop at Brazito to get a few drinks or something or to get gas and we hear people talking about the church. It can be really hilarious!

It's amazing how conservative the people in and around Jeff City are. But then you go to Columbia and it's like a breath of fresh air.
I really wanna move back to be close to all my family who live near Jeff but this backwards-ness drives me insane. Have you lived here your whole life?!?

I go to Grace Baptist in Granite City, Illinois. There's a few Right-Wing sickos who go to my church who believe that being Gay and/or Liberal is bad, Obama's (Democratic Party) gonna take away your guns, and Abortion = Murder ********. Well, I oppose the abortion procedure, but abortion is NOT murder and the woman should have the right to choose.
