There is no reason why there has to be an all white cast,
hopefully they cast some Asians and Indians as well for the next two.

I have no problem of him being black, but they could of casted a black person who was also handsom and attractive.

Boyega is really unattractive and plain and just forgettable.

John Boyega is a fine actor,i enjoyed his role in the film adaptation of Chiamanda Adichie's novel "half of a yellow sun"

First of all, he's not even ugly. He has charisma and knows how to carry himself. He's a great actor and people love watching him.

Second, Mark Hamill is not attractive, Carrie Fisher is not a beauty Queen and Harrison Ford, cute, but he's not a pretty boy either. The Star Wars series is not about looks. The only good looking cast members were the three main characters in the prequels and we all know how those movies turned out.

Third, Star Wars is full of alien creatures with green skin or covered in fur. You're fine with watching Chewbacca's ugly ass moan his way through the movie, but Boyega is not handsome enough?

My Mom was SO excited when we saw him in the trailer. She was kind of breathless and that was amazing to see. I'm so happy he's in this movie and I'm super excited because the movie looks amazing. My mom and I will be in the theater together come December 2015, probably crying and freaking out. Idc idc idc.
