Maybe. There's a high crime rate but I bet it's a really nice city, just like Chicago.

Downtown is nice. The suburbs are beautiful. The outskirts of the inner city should be inhabited by nobody.

Detroit gets a bad rap for all the abandoned/burned buildings and crime and whatnot, but Metro Detroit and Downtown are actually beautiful and great places to live.
