So selling 1M copies in the first week in the US is such a huge achievement that you have no idea, it's just crazy. Only few albums have done it so impressively. But looking at the list I watch one singular interesting case:
Limp Bizkit released "Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water" in 2000 and it sold more than 1M copies in the US alone in its first week. And I know not so many members really know Limp Bizkit (and btw you should try them because they're really cool)
It's a pretty weired case 'cause it wasn't such a big name and it debuted with that amount, so ..
