Promoted as the biggest A Current Affair event all year, One Directions special bombed with their lowest ratings in living memory, a dismal 547,000. Usually getting an average of 900,000 - 1,000,000 viewers a night, last nights 1D event had viewers switching off in droves.
In comparison, when Lady Gaga did a similar special, she gave them their highest rating of the year with 1.3mil
Of course. The GP is not here for 1D, only their fans. Also, someone should get fired if this is a concert special and they thought people would tune in to watch them perform.
Not surprising, tbh. This happens to almost every artist who blows up in a massive way, especially them, when their target are teenage girls who move on quickly.
They better release one more album (their last one) while they still have some relevancy. Then go to a farewell tour and move on.
