It's one of the best GTA games ever, perhaps the best after GTA V, why does everyone hate it

What's there to like about it? Especially coming after SA? I think it had one of the best storylines, but the game play was the pits. Sooo many things you couldn't do compared to it's predecessor. Car handling being a bitch.

IV lacked so many things its predecessor had that made it boring as **** after finishing the story.
The expansions added to the experience but overall content in what you could do still came up short.

System requirements are only ****.

Nah Nikko is boring and bland the story is the pits and the phone calls

I don't ever hear people say that the game is under or overrated,but in my opinion,it is easily the best Grand Theft Auto game in the franchise. The plot was 100% on point if i recall, and the tone and visuals were amazing. It was a pretty dark and mature game. With that said,I can see why average video gamers looking to run people over all day wouldn't like it.

This. The story is amazing, great graphics, but IMO the world is a little dark/cold for a GTA game, kind of like Watch Dogs. That's really the only fault I can see in the game... I like the driving mechanics of IV way more than V. It's impossible to make your car blow up in V from falling off hills and stuff

The tone for IV was pretty ****ing amazing.
I liked the angle of a immigrant coming to the US for new opportunities, It added a fresh element to GTA.
All was not what it seemed when Nikko was looking for new opportunities and I liked that.

V while better in content the story was kinda meh.
Typical guy who wants to get out of the hood
Father with a ****** family who relapses back into crime.

Only interesting character out of the main three was Trevor.
