Well after years of waiting, ex-Evanescence member Ben Moody has finally released his solo debut album, "All For This". It was released digitally on June 9th (and since he formed another band, I doubt it'll see a physical release). He is not on Wind-Up records anymore. Instead, he formed his own label FNR Records and released the album through it.
I bought the album last night and it is AMAZING! "10.22" is the song about Amy Lee and Ben's departure from the band, though there are a couple of other songs that could be about Amy as well (like "Perfect"). Some of the songs are like Evanescence ("10.22" "Nothing Left of Me') but most of the songs are stripped down and acoustic, which is great because they seem raw. The girl who does backing vocals, Hana Pestle (who is signed to his label) is amazing too.
If you like Evanescence or soft/acoustic rock songs, this album is good and definitly worth your money.
If you are skeptical, go to iTunes (or Amazon mp3) and listen to the clips of "10.22" (My favorite song right now!), "Nothing Left of Me", "Hold Me Down", "Wishing Well", and "Perfect".
