Celeb News: Vanessa Hudgens takes a break from music to focus on acting

Disney star Vanessa Hudgens decided to take a break from music to focus on acting.
She said: "It's great! I mean, I love musicals, I really do. I grew up doing them, so it'll always have a place in my heart ... at the same time, it's nice to be able to separate the two and just be able to focus on films. It's a lot of fun playing different characters and taking on new journeys."
She said this on the set of her non-musical film set "Beastly" to MTV news yesterday.
With all of the movies she's doing "Beastly" and "Bandslam", she won't have time to write or record music for an upcoming album, but if she's offer a chance to sing on a soundtrack, she might do it and if she's offer to sing in a movie, she won't do it anymore.
This is a great decision for Vanessa Hudgens since her music career went downhill, and nobody in the world probably even remember one song from her that she did without High School Musical help.
Probably in 5 years nobody will remember who she is unless her movies are great, but they are probably not.

Well her first album was a moderate success & the second one was a big flop because she wasn't promoted and thrown under the bus by her label for Miley & Jonas Brothers albums.

I think the only reason she said she's taking a break from music is because she's shooting 2 movies back-to-back.
& trust Vanessa ain't going no where. She's already getting press for 'Beastly' and she's only been shooting for 2 weeks.
& her other movie 'Sucker Punch' is being directed by Zack Synder the man behind '300' & 'Watchmen' which is bound to be a success and will also completely wipe out her disney image as it will be a rated R movie where she'll be kicking ass with machine guns and ****.

& its also been revealed she's agreed to star in the comic book adaptation of 'Dead@17' which is being produced by the same dude who did 'Transformers 2' & the upcoming 'G.I. Joe'.

All that plus the press she gets for her fashion and releationship with Efron, Hudgens is here to stay for awhile

I probably would have said the same thing but her upcoming movies actually sound really great, especially 'Sucker Punch'.
Just the thought of seeing Vanessa kick ass while still looking sexy on the big screen has me really excited

It will also help sex up her image a bit more so her third album won't have any teen pop crap on it.

I still expect her to get back in the studio after she's done filming 'Sucker Punch' which is January of 2010.
She already has a down payment on the third album and HR is gonna wanna release it when they wanna and not when she wants to.

I'd say expect a new album by the end of 2010.

I saw 2 posters for the movie when I went to see Transformers 2 last nite & got all excited lol.
