I'm confused...where does it say that it's coming out on an EP. Nowhere in her tweets does it say that, and the sources listed in the OP don't say that either. The original plan for her was that her "first single" from her debut lp would be out this month.

No, she clearly said that things got changed.
Her first single of her album will be 'Biscuit' cause she rehearsed, performed and teased that multiple times.
This is something to keep the fans over apparently until the album/single next year.
I updated the single cover and apparently this was just a single to hold us over.
So no EP but the first single from her debut album is coming very soon !
