Starring Alexandra Shipp as the beloved actress and music sensation, the movie also averaged 1.7 million Adults 18-49 viewers, 1.6 million Adults 25-54 viewers, 1.3 million Women 18-49 viewers and 1.2 million Women 25-54 viewers at 8:00pm, according to Nielsen Fast Cable Ratings. Among Adults 18-49 and Women 18-49, Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B ranks as this year’s #2 movie telecast on cable, behind Lifetime’s Flowers in the Attic.



Also, Aaliyah ranked #1 on Google Trends on Saturday.



Immediately following the movie at 10:00pm ET/PT, the hour-long documentary Beyond the Headlines: Aaliyah delivered 2.7 million Total Viewers, 1.4 million Adults 18-49 viewers, 1.3 million Adults 25-54 viewers, 1.1 million Women 18-49 viewers and 1.0 million Women 25-54 viewers.

Also TOPPING NIELSEN Twitter ratings with 997,000 tweets and a 3.4 Million audience.
