Music News: Rih rejects Calvin collab.

Whatever reasons Rihanna has for turning down Harris’ production work, there’s not necessarily reason to suspect the two have burned any bridges, so a future collaboration between the two is not entirely out of the question for now.

Yeah, her GGGB was all pop (Stargate), then she had that dark era "Rated R", went back to pop (Stargate), then Calvin Harris with "We Found Love" and then Diamonds (Sia). I like that she wants to try something different.

As far as I know, Calvin didn't submit any song to Rihanna for Unapologetic. He said that he didn't have enough time (only two days) to write and produce a track, so he couldn't make it and, as a consequence, he didn't send her a song.

Regarding Rihanna's new album, Calvin mentioned (around the 7:35 min. mark) that he was focused on finishing Motion, so he only sent her a track that was written by Tinashe and him. Being said that, it's not "Dollar Signs" as he said later that he doesn't know what's gonna happen to that song.

She rejected him because I will Never Let you Down practically destroyed Calvin's career because it is simply not a good song and damaged his reputation. Unlike Rihanna, who made him famous.
