Her husky, restrained vocals; the schizophrenic production; the clever wordplays; the socially conscious rap in the beginning; this was definitely left-of-center for Bey, but it WORKED. And as time went on, the love for this song grew (for me, at least), but what are your opinions? Is this the best song on her album, the best song she has ever done, or is it ONE OF the best? Discuss.
One of the best for sure. Top 10 easily. Don't know if it can compete with Crazy in Love, Countdown and Deja Vu's productions, but it's certainly one of her best.
No Angel is the better song on self-titled imo. It's different from anything i've ever heard.
Nah. Your love for it has just been reignited by the '50 Shades of Grey' trailer. It's an incredible song. But she has tonnes of others that are ten times better than it. It's not even the best song on BEYONCE. Blow is.

I've always loved this song before that trailer came out, sis, I haven't forgotten.
I was listening to it last night and I was taken back, I forgot how good it was since I haven't listened to it properly for a few weeks or so Not sure about being one of her best overall but definitely one of the best on the album
