The LGBT community has argued heavily against the use of anti-gay conversion therapy, deeming it harmful to gay people and saying that they should accept themselves for who they are. It has also been made illegal in several states. On that note, should hormone therapy and sex change surgery be outlawed as well, since they promote self-hatred and an inability to accept oneself?
