What exactly are the similarities between Pour it Up and Partition? Lyrically they are different songs. One is about being at a strip club, the other is about sex in the back of a car. Sonically they are of the same genre (Urban/ R&B), but the similarities stop there. Visually they are similar with the simplistic burlesque/strip club vibes, though Partition is far more sophisticated and complex, as well as being concepts Beyoncé had already covered in Naughty Girl.
