They have a supringly large collection of Asian music. There is actually an older Japanese artist on there that I've been trying to find HQ tracks of and couldn't find any of his work on jpopsuki.

I use to work at the library and we got plenty of visitors throughout the day.

I can't speak for every town/city, but the library is a very popular hot spot in my town - not just for their book selection, but the activities and opportunities they present to the community as a whole.

Also, lots of libraries today have video games that you can rent, which is quite convenient seeing as you can't rent/download games online as easy as you can music, films and e-books. My library has a big group of kids and teenagers that come into the library once a week to play Magic: The Gathering and they always rent out a new game before leaving.

Life can be a lot more fun when you take an interest in what's going on in your community.

Well I guess it must be different where you live because the only thing keeping libraries open around here are senior citizens and the weekly weight watchers meeting. 2 have shut down in the past 6 months alone, and many more will follow.

I don't know anyone who still borrows books, just the same as anyone renting a DVD from the video store. People just don't do it like they used to

it's pretty much only music from sony's labels
my library lets us get 4 each week but i'd rather get the cd

rca sony and epic as for major mainstream artist. But thier seems to be a few others mixed in.
