Also, this is just me, but something about the title "American Cowboy" seems corny and I sorta cringe every time it's said in the song. Seems like a title that would better fit a song by a country/folky group.

I actually agree with you, the song is great, but the title of the song sounds is a bit strange for a pop song, people would think it's a country song, maybe that's why there is not that many replies in this thread because they think it's a country song lol
