Katy Perry says she would love to emulate Britney Spears's spectacular Circus tour.
The I Kissed a Girl star has to make do with a smaller budget, but one day hopes to rival Britney and Madonna by putting on a massive stage show.
She said: "I really want to see (Britney's) show. I hear it's supposed to be amazing and I love those big production shows, because I haven't been able to get to that point yet.
"I'm on my first record. I don't have millions of dollars to do shows like that just yet.
"I love how she uses all the dancers and all the theatrics."
Her career bears so much resemblance to Madonna in her early years. I really can't wait. She really CAN sing live but she needs to work on making it happen every time and not just once in a blue moon.
I don\'t think Katy is the type of artist who could pull off an interseting 2+ hour show. Tours require energy, stage presence, dancing credibility, power-house fan base, media\'s attention, and last but not least money. I am not doubting her, and I know she is going to have a tour sooner or later, but IMO dancing is a must in tours. And she can\'t dance. Yet again, Katy is a crazy unpredictable girl, she\'d carry the show into a whole entertaining theme.
