This is the beautiful moment a dying hospital patient’s final wish comes true - to see her favourite horse one last time.
The moving photograph shows the horse, called Bronwen, gently nuzzling up against her owner, gran-of-four Sheila Marsh, who is lying in her hospital bed.
Mrs Marsh sadly passed away just hours later after a fight against cancer.
But her grateful family said the loving meeting gave her comfort and thanked hospital bosses in Wigan for their care and consideration.
