This is so ignorant. You have no clue what theyve tried to do for her. Im sure this is a living nightmare for them. At their old age they shouldnt be still losing sleep over a 28 yr old child. Truth is they can only do so much when she is being hostile towards them and making nasty accusations. They can't control her.
What this case highlights is how the system fails so badly. Her poor parents are not experts on mental health theyre doing the best they can and probably taking advice. All they can do is try protect her money for her future. But now they're handing the conservatorship over to mental health specialists who will be better judges of how to handle it. Also in the hope that they will be able to reconcile without the money issues making Amanda resent them.
