YAS. I love North Carolina. You can go to the mountains, to the beach, and to a big city all within a day or two.

I love that NC has some of the biggest mountais out east and the ocean Charlotte seems cool and the Research Triangle seems great for young people

I live in the Research Triangle.It's a pretty smart area

It's friendly if you're into raising families and the like.

If you're into clubbing, and in your 20s,there isn't much of that here.
Upscale shopping leaves a bit to be desired too (Charlotte has more)

We ARE however, More LGBT friendly than other parts of the state(The Mountains OUTSIDE of Boone and Asheville)
