I recently updated my iPod Touch to 8.1. I plugged my iPod into my Mac and my iPod stalled on step 7 which was the synching process. After re-plugging, I got a message saying there was not enough space and I needed additional 15GB's. I have a 32gb iPod with about 2,200 songs.

I've deleted the few apps I had, deleted songs and albums but still get the same message. Any suggestion on what to do? I knew I shouldn't have updated to 8.1! I can't even play the songs on my iPod cuz they're all unable to synch

Just do a Restore (it will delete everything off your iPod thus clearing enough space for iOS 8.1) and then when it's updated, do a Backup from before you deleted your music. Everything will copy back over. If you don't have a backup from before you deleted your music (which you should since iTunes creates a backup every time you plug your phone in), then just add all of your music and apps back to your phone and start fresh.

Thanks for the tip. My iPod updated to the 8.1. Could that be what took up space?
