Yes. Not to science though, but to people that needed transplants. If I'm already dead then I have no use for my organs so how selfish would it be for me to let them go to waste when they could save somebody's life?

I heard that if you are registered as an organ donor, and get into some life threatening accident, the doctors saving you could be biased to not (especially if you are young) because of the long organ waiting lists.

If you are young, most of your organs are healthy. Say you get in a traumatic car crash. The emergency doctor working on you knows that there is a long list of people awaiting organ transplants. Does he really need to give his all to save you? When your organs could save 10 people?
