Artists like Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, and Lil Wayne opening at or near 1m is far more impressive than Britney opening with 1.3 million in a climate much more conducive for good record sales.

In relation to record sales, I'm a musician, and it makes me so sad to see streaming reign. Spotify is legit ********. They give like zero royalties to the artists/record companies so artists are not really getting paid. Not to mention this whole illegal downloading problem would be solved immediately if artists would release digital copies on iTunes first and then physical copies later, but no one does that for some reason.

Taylor will surpass one million, but I think Britney will keep the record.
