I tried to watch American Beauty but couldn't finish it, I thought it was boring. But I was way too young back then so I'm planning to re-watch it someday.
I've watched American Psycho just this spring and I loved it. The satire>>>

American beauty is good too tho, I just prefer American Psycho because it's more entertaining to me.
