Straight up as soon as they ask. The more they know the sooner, the better they can defend themselves against things. Most parents probably don't like to think this way, but in this world kids are going to experiment whether you like it or not. If your son asks for condoms, buy them for him, because he's going to do it anyway. And be glad he more or less came to inform you.
I'm not having kids, but if I did, it would be whenever they ask where babies come from, or if one of my sisters is pregnant, or they meet a baby or a pregnant woman or something.
I don't want one, but if I change my mind, he or she will know as soon as they ask about it. If they haven't asked by 5 or 6 I'm telling them about it. I don't agree with people who like to "protect their children's childhood and innocence" because what is the value in doing so? I'd rather have my child know information early instead of walking into a world full of innuendos and explicit practices mentally unprepared.
lol I ain't having no kids. If I did though I'd try to be as straightforward as I possibly could about it. My parents never had the sex talk with me so I had to figure out everything on my own mostly from television and my friends and that led to me being naive as hell about sex even when I was like 16
If I have kids.
Gonna wait till they're 13 or 14 and ask them if they know what it is.
If they do, then I'll just tell them to wait until they're ready, to be safe and buy condoms.
If not....
Idk how I'd explain it.
