A pair of Senate Democrats announced legislation Thursday that would end government benefits for former members of the SS
Why now? I didn't click the link so I'm totally uneducated on this topic and just going on the summary in the OP, but it seems wrong to fault someone for something they did 60 years ago, when they're now old and dying and need it At least, if it's being done as a punishment. If they're cutting benefits and it just so happens that some ex-nazis lose it that's different I guess...

I didn't click the link either, but I wouldn't see it as a punishment..it's more like taking away a reward they don't deserve because they're scum
