I live in Canada and it's pretty nice here, not a whole lot to complain about aside from some political issues.
We are very LGBT-friendly here; there's an entire community of gays in Toronto (search: Church and Wellesley) and there's a huge splash of rainbows everywhere across the nation around the time when gay parades take place. You can also get married in any of our provinces or territories, which is a testimony to how progressive we are with human rights.
Great place to live if you love diversity, too! Soo many different nationalities and ethnicities here.
