During the 2014 Golden Heart Awards last night, Anna Wintour was presented with the Michael Kors Award for Outstanding Community Service.
Kors, who is the co-chair of the annual fundraiser and designer of his eponymous line, introduced Vogue’s editor in chief with an anecdote about the pair’s recent project in which they prepared 1,200 meals for the less fortunate. “Lucy and Ethel having nothing on Anna and myself in a kitchen,” he joked.
Wintour, who is never lacking self assurance, responded to Kors by saying “I thought we were like Jay Z and Beyoncé.”
