A Canadian man allegedly found a dead mouse in the bottom of his McDonald’s coffee cup.
Ron Morais said he had finished the entire cup — which he had purchased at the Prospect Street location in Fredericton — before he discovered the rodent’s body.
“I always take the lid off to get my last sip of coffee. And when I took the lid off, there was a little bit of a surprise in my coffee cup. It was a dead mouse,” Morais told CBC.
Disgusting. Poor guy must be scarred for life. This is why I question fast food restaurants.
Did he not notice how heavy the cup was though? , didn't it smell?, it's hard not to notice something like that in your coffee, especially since it would be touching his lips when he drank from it
I question how this can even happen, and whether this could happen anywhere. I must admit I don't feel bad buying food at McDonald's, because I have yet to see reports of something like this happening to somebody eating at McD's in my country.
Either way, this is disgusting. I hope the guy didn't catch some disease from it.
He would've felt the weight of the cup and said something or looked then. And do y'all think the coffee is just already poured and ready? No. You literally see the cashier pull a new cup from dispenser and pour from a fresh mug.
Unless the person who poured it sees rats plopping in drinks on the daily this fool is hungry for some kind of payout.
