It seems way too random for these two to be partners in crime to not be calculated. What if all of this is a big hoax just to prove that Britney was never crazy? That she was doing everything on purpose and fabricating rumors about herself and that this is their way of showing how easy it is for greedy people to get a conservatorship of someone wealthy? What if everyone is in on it to save Britney?
But Sam being an obsessive, mental case himself is probably more plausible.
