All the wars & discrimination cuz of the religion.
I live here in Switzerland and I'm albanian.
My parents are muslims & i am atheist.
A lot of people I know from work, school & friends are atheist.
More n more people are saying no to religion and with the upcomings generations, i think people will believe less in religion.
Cuz they r drinkin nd ****in with 13.

i see traditions like "christening" staying but not believing in god etc.
Will the "New Time" of human come & bring us to the next point in life?
we can just do it on our own, god didnt help us for the last 200000 years.

Yes, Religion is disgusting.

Atheism is definitely getting most popular, especially with young people, however I can't see religion ever disappearing completely, at least not until hundreds of years after we're all dead. Religion will probably just evolve with the times to become more liberal and accepting.

I think there'd be lots of wars even without religion anyway. Politics will still cause lots of wars (and like religion, I can't see politics ever disappearing completely either).

If religion wasn't the reason for "conflicts" there's gonna be other reasons. There's always gonna be a reason. For example people who dont believe gay people are actually gay it's not because of religion (not always at least) it's because they don't find it fitting or right.

Conflicts will always be here.

There will always be wars even if you strip the world of religion because all wars with religious entanglement constitute only less than 7% in the history of warfare. It's actually at the bottom of the list of reasons of the major wars throughout history. Most wars are actually fought over territory and resources.

I'd like it if it came about by the people just modernizing and choosing it for themselves (like in many western european countries). Even so, It'll never happen, humans are superstitious and afraid by nature, so even science were to advance to the point where we figure out everything about everything (evolution becomes a "law", we completely unravel the origin of life, the universe/multiverse, all in an easy to understand way), people will still find a way to reconcile that with their religion. We'll always want skydaddy to protect us and a party with our dead parents and relatives in the afterlife, it ain't going anywhere.

And besides, I don't think even I, an atheist antitheist, would be happy if religion was eradicated entirely. Diminished to the point where laws aren't being passed in the 21st century influenced by or based on literally ancient texts would be enough. If it just became a thing people practiced in privacy and/or their houses of worship, rather than being things they bring to the voting booth and/or to elected office, we'd be much better off.

Absolutely yes. Most of wars have been started due to religion conflicts. World would be a better place without it. We should learn how to stand in our feet.
